5 hours

Cabernet lovers, this tour is for you!

This Médoc wine tasting tour takes you back in time to discover the ancient practices that have made Bordeaux wine so famous. You’ll learn about the great paradox in winemaking, in which the latest technology is used alongside traditional techniques to create perfectly unique results.

On this Médoc wine trip you will be able to admire the classical architecture of a Grand Cru Classé château near Margaux, and learn all about the infamous 1855 classification.

The second stop will take place in another beautiful château where you’ll enjoy uncovering the secrets of what makes Bordeaux wine so delicious!

Enjoy a wine & cheese tasting to finish the afternoon in a very French way.

Tour available from April to October, simply check the calendar!

You may also privatise this tour for groups from 2 to 45 people. To book click here and we’ll get back to you!

For the protection of the environment, we will no longer provide bottles of water during our tours. Guests are kindly invited to bring their own. Water and refills will be available at the chateaus.

Wear closed shoes for the cobblestone streets in Saint-Emilion, and warm clothing for the wine cellars where the temperature is around 59°F (15°C).
You can carry your luggage with you on request. It will depend on the size of the luggage and the space available in the van. The vehicles used are 9-seater minivans (1 driver + 8 passengers including two on the front seat). They are newer model cars with air-conditioning in the front and back, equipped with 2 sliding doors which make it easier for the group to get in and out of the vehicle. They’re also equipped with a sound system to hear the guide’s comments (or music). On request we can offer different types and style of véhicle (vintage, electric, sports car, 15 to 45 seaters VIP Bus)
Our minivan tours always go through unless there is imminent danger due to the weather conditions. In case of rain, we provide umbrellas to all our guests. Also, we try to keep track of the weather conditions a few days before the tour in case we need to reschedule it. But if due to unforeseen weather trouble the tour is cancelled you will receive a full refund.
Between 2 and 3 at each estate.
With the exception of a few very rare estates (1st growth wineries for instance), it is always possible to buy wine during our wine tours. Most wineries ship worldwide too! We strongly recommend shipping wine home in order to avoid carrying bottles along your travel(s).
