BOOKING HOLIDAYS AND OTHER SERVICES FOR WHICH A QUOTE HAS BEEN PROVIDED

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be applicable to services provided by S.E.E.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be sent to the Customer with the quote, so that he or she may make a booking. Any booking thus implies the Customer’s full acceptance of these terms and conditions, excluding any other document such as brochures, flyers, etc. In the event of a contradiction between the provisions in the quote signed by the Customer and those listed herein, only the provisions in the quote shall be applicable.

The prices listed in Euros are provided for information purposes only (From…per person). They have been determined based on the rates in force on 1 January 2016. They are subject to change and must be confirmed when the customer registers. The price includes all services listed in the detailed program descriptions at the time of registration. In general, any personal expenses are not included such as beverages and transport (unless stated otherwise in the program description).

The Customer’s booking shall be permanently registered by S.E.E., upon receipt of the quote dated and signed by the Customer, with the Customer’s stamp and the handwritten statement “Agreed and signed”, with payment of the deposit referred to in Article 3 and a copy of this document duly initialed on each page.

Any request to change services in the accepted quote must be sent in writing to S.E.E.
Given the nature of the tours offered, changes in the program (dates, times, itinerary, etc.) may occur. The participants may not request a refund or compensation under any circumstances whatsoever. The service is only valid once. If the customer does not show up at the meeting point at the scheduled time, the service shall be permanently lost, and shall not be refunded.


30% of the payment is due upon booking. The balance of 70% is due 30 days prior to the customer’s arrival or the date of the event.

Any booking which occurs less than 30 days prior to the customer’s arrival shall be subject to payment in full.

100% payment at time of booking.

SERVICES ORDERED AND PAID FOR DIRECTLY ONLINE AT www.bordeauxwinetrails.com

For services purchased and paid online via the www.bordeauxwinetrails.com website, the booking is permanently registered by S.E.E. when payment is confirmed. A voucher shall then be sent by email to the customer. For this reason, it is very important that the customer verify his/her email address entered when placing the order.

Payment is due in full after confirming the order. We will not accept payment at the time of the service.

 

The website makes it possible for you to place and validate your order online by paying with a credit card. The website has a secure online payment system allowing the customer to encrypt his/her banking data sent.

The vendor agrees to provide the tour packages ordered online on the date specified in the commercial offer authorized by the customer.

CANCELLATION

As invoicing is done based on the services booked, we ask that the customer carefully read the following cancellation terms and conditions:

Cancellations, of either all or part of the initial booking, must be sent by email to the following address: contact@bordeauxwinetrails.com.

In the event of a partial cancellation, the percentage amount provided below will be applied to the cancellation terms and conditions.

If the customer cancels, the refund of amounts paid will take place, minus the cancellation fees as specified below, as a credit based on the cancellation date in relation to the first day of the services purchased.

For services ordered and paid directly online at the website www.bordeauxwinetrails.com:

The minimum number of people for a tour to depart is 2. We reserve the right to cancel the tour 48 hours prior if the minimum is not met and we will give you a full refund.

If the customer is a no-show on the day of the service ordered, without having cancelled his/her booking beforehand under the aforementioned terms and conditions, S.E.E. will keep the payment made by the customer on the order date as compensation, as this payment will compensate the loss suffered due to advance expenses incurred to carry out the service ordered.

For holidays and other services quoted:

CONDITIONS PRECEDENT

If the customer books a tour which is subject to a minimum number of participants, his/her booking is subject to the condition precedent of the minimum number of participants being fulfilled. Consequently, if S.E.E. informs the customer that the minimum number has not been met, the contract between S.E.E. and the customer shall be null and void. The amounts paid by the customer shall be refunded to him/her in full.

MINORS

Minors will only be accepted if accompanied by a responsible adult.

INSURANCE

Unless stated otherwise, insurance is not included in the proposed prices.
S.E.E. thus suggests that you purchase insurance from your insurance company when you have placed your order, covering the following:
– cancellation
– repatriation and theft,
– loss or destruction of luggage
– legal aid
– accidental bodily injury and repatriation

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY CLAUSES

Under no circumstances may S.E.E. be held liable for any transport delays due to circumstances beyond its control such as road works, traffic jams, etc.
S.E.E. may not be held liable under any circumstances for delays due to force majeure such as strikes, weather conditions, terrorist attacks, riots, etc. (non-exhaustive list).
If the vehicle breaks down en route due to mechanical failure, an accident or damage (theft, degradation), S.E.E. will strive to ensure the continuity of the trip, either with one of its vehicles, or a vehicle hired from another company, and promises to inform the ordering customer.

INDIVIDUAL LIABILITY

You are responsible for adapting your alcohol consumption based on your physiology, and any illnesses you may have or any medication you are taking. We remind you that pregnant women should not drink alcohol and, in general, alcohol abuse is bad for your health. As our chauffeurs are responsible for the vehicle during its rental, they have been instructed to abide by and enforce the laws in force. The customer may not, under any circumstances, demand that the chauffeur go over the speed limit or violate the rules of the road.

S.E.E. reserves the right to interrupt the service in progress if the chauffeur or guide realizes that the customer is breaking the law, for example, using narcotics, or if the customers’ behavior jeopardizes the chauffeur’s safety or the rented vehicle, but also if the customers insult the chauffeur.

LAWS AND SAFETY

The vehicle and chauffeur have documents aboard which are required by law for the service to proceed smoothly.
Seat belts must be worn both in the front and back seats.
In accordance with the law in force in any French public places, smoking in our vehicles is strictly forbidden. In accordance with the provisions of French law for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages, it is strictly forbidden to drink alcoholic beverages in our vehicles.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

The customer must express any complaints or claims to Bordeaux Wine Trails the day on which the services take place or the next business day at the very latest.
