Summary

On this Saint Emilion wine trip you’ll explore the enchanting medieval village before going on a vineyard tour of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

First, enjoy a lovely stroll along the village’s narrow streets and hear interesting tales about its history. Taste several different wines on site from nearby vineyards: Pomerol, Montagne Saint-Emilion, Fronsac, etc.

Next, you’ll take a tour of the prestigious Château Fombrauge, a Grand Cru Classé winery, where you’ll be offered a one-of-a-kind wine tasting, comparing the château’s wines with three other international wines during a blind tasting. You’ll finally know exactly what the French mean when they talk about terroir!

We’ll finish the afternoon on a tasty note at a family-owned winery in Pomerol or Saint-Emilion where you’ll be offered delicious local specialties such as cheeses and cured meats with the château’s wines – the perfect way to experience French lifestyle enjoying a traditional aperitif.

With up to eight various wine tastings in this tour, you’ll learn all there is to know about Saint Emilion wines!
