Bordeaux vineyards tour by e-bike

Everything about this tour was excellent. Right from the start with communication to the actual tour with Alex and the wineries and visiting Saint Emillion. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bordeaux. Was one of the highlights of our trip!

Cycling next to and between the vineyards, dotted with old stone houses/cellars and chateaus was an incredible way to experience the Saint Emilion region of Bordeaux. The e-bikes were very comfortable (somehow not clunky or too heavy) and quite easy to manage. Nice touch that helmets were provided (even though it was not clear on the website). This was such a fun experience! Went with two friends and had an amazing time biking through the beautiful countryside. The e-bikes are great and help a LOT during the hilly parts of the ride (turbo mode is your friend). Both wine tastings were wonderful, lunch was delicious, and our tour guide Ben was super friendly! My mum and I did a vineyard tour with Clément and absolutely loved it. He was super friendly, spoke perfect English, and his passion for what he does really shines through. We chose the bike tour and had the best day cycling through the stunning French countryside, surrounded by endless vineyards and beautiful views. The wine and food were delicious, and Clément made everything so easy and enjoyable, always looking out for our safety and making sure we were comfortable. Would 100% recommend!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to experience the sights and sounds of magical vineyards in st emilion. Ben was a fantastic and enthusiastic guide who provided lots of knowledge and information throughout the tour. He was very easy going and sociable as well. Despite a short downpour in the morning, Ben's hospitality more than made up for it.

Wonderful Bike and Wine tour! Would definitely do again!

We had a really nice day with a super nice tour guide and lovely company. The planning of the day was relaxed and we were warmly welcomed at the places we visited. The information during the bikerides and at the winehouses was interesting and we tasted some great wines. We would definitely do this again and highly recommend the tour.

We had a fantastic time on the Bordeaux Wine and Bike Tour of St. Emilion. It was truly a highlight of our trip. It was a nice, relaxed trip through the rolling hills and wineries, learning about the region and drinking great wines! The stop in the town of St. Emilion was also very interesting and a nice break in the middle of the trip. I've already recommended it to many of our friends!

We had such an amazing time biking around St Emilion with Laura. The countryside was so peaceful and beautiful, biking in the area felt very safe and easy. The wineries we visited and the lunch service were exceptional. Laura was very knowledgeable - she’s a true wine expert but made it fun and approachable. We are so glad we made this one of our days in Bordeaux. Our guide was fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. Biking through the countryside was really wonderful - we got much more feeling for the region than from a van, and the bikes were easy to operate. The food was lovely. Such an amazing tour and our favourite during our entire Europe trip! The e-bikes were a great way to view the many many vineyards in the area. We loved the information Alex gave. He knew what he was talking about and made the information fun. He also is VERY knowledgeable about wine and is a sommelier which is super helpful. No oversight at the booking .We booked what we thought was a private group , but at the end it was a bigger group . One of the participants was attacked by a dog .Thankfully there were no injuries . It is my understanding that the tour leader was aware of the presence of the dog , and I believe that route should have been avoided . Smooth riding along the vineries to Saint Emilion town on e-bikes. Two wines tours were on our list, and the first one was well presented with extra answers on our questions. After tasting wines we got a pleasure of the lunch of salad, quiche and creme brûlée at the end. The second vine tour was much shorter with higher wines quality. The driver Alexander was cheerful, wine knowledgeable and bike master.

We had a wonderful day biking our way through the vineyards and to Saint-Emilion. We had family members of all ages and the e-bikes made it a very inclusive event. The tour was a great experience and we had an amazing day. We did the bike tour of two St Emilion chateaux with Clément and 2 other groups from the UK and Ireland. Clém was very knowledgeable of the areas of Bordeaux and the wine making process, and he kept us engaged the whole time. The biking portion of the trip was fairly easy because the bikes were electric. Don't forget to list your dietary restrictions for lunch when you buy your passes. Bon voyage!

Clem and Alex were fantastic tour guides - not only did they always have smiles on their faces but were a wealth of information and answered every question our group had. The e-bikes were such a fun way to see Saint Emilion and some of the chateaus tucked away. I didnt like that the day started with a tasting of Rose from Provence (??) - felt like abit of cheap product placement from the first vineyard and didn’t start the tour on a good note. We had great day out, cycling through the vineyards of St. Emilion. Our guide Clem was so good. A really relaxed day that didn't feel like we were on a strict tour but rather a group of people leisurely exploring the region. One of the wineries included a tour of how the wine is made followed by a long lunch amongst the vineyards - one of the best bits of day. The roads were relatively quiet for riding bikes, we felt safe the entire time. Would absolutely recommend this tour if you are in the region.

This was a well organized & fun tour. John, our tour guide was interesting,knowledgeable, and fun to spend the day with. He picked a beautiful, quiet route through the countryside and selected roads with very little traffic. The 2 wineries we went to were small & intimate. Both vineyards that we visited were interesting as each representative took care to explain and share the story of their vineyards which made the experience insightful and we all learnt something from it. the bike tour led by Nate is the icing on the cake as it was really fun to cycle up and down the rolling vineyards! It was a fun and lovely experience, bikes are top notch and Clement made the tour fun and knowledgable and the picnic was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Bordeaux wine trails. I signed up for the Ebike Tour but it was changed to a van tour last minute because it was 105°F. We saw some beautiful châteaus and tasted a wonderful variety of wines. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The lunch is yummy, but not very filling so bring your own food if you want a true lunch. We had an amazing day with Clément, who was so very knowledgeable about Bordeaux and wine! My husband, who was a few weeks post surgery, was also able to enjoy it as the ebikes required much less effort than regular bikes. We had booked this for mid August but arrived when temperatures were hitting high 30’s so not safe to bike in those temperatures ???? Our guide, Yan, was very accommodating and also knew the area very well. The size of the group was 6 people, which made it easy to stay together and made it feel like we were insiders. Easy going day catching 2 wine producers’ properties and a quick tour of enchanting Saint-Emilion. We saw another group doing a similar tour but wholly via tour bus and there’s no way they had as much fun as us! Definitely recommend.

We took an all day eBike tour of the Saint Emilion Appellation of Bordeaux with a small group of tourists. Our guide Yan was fun and very easy going. His abilty to go back forth with multiple languages was impressive and the tour was guided in English.
