Private Tour Medoc

Great day. On time Pick up at our hotel in Bordeaux. Knowledgeable guide with great personality! Went to 3 different Chateaus, plus a stop for lunch. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

I’m not sure why they sent me to review. I have COVID and had to cancel the tour. Although I understand that they are entitled to keep the dollars for the tour, they could have refunded the monies they are not out, such as entrance fees, cost of rental and gas. That would be the nice thing to do but they didn’t bother. They had to switch the tour guide right before we left, and that was ok for them but they had no graciousness in giving any of our monies back. I only expected the dollars they didn’t spend. Wouldn’t recommend.

Highly recommended, we did the family friendly private tour on 2 separate days. Marie was amazing and highly knowledgeable. Her formal education in wine as well as life experiences (working at various chateaus) provided tons of insights. I’d definitely repeat whenever we are back in Bordeaux. Our kids loved Marie!

Our tour of Medoc was an outstanding experience and a highlight of our trip to Bordeaux. Cinzia in the front office organized an interesting itinerary and was in regular communication. Marie was an excellent guide, passionate and knowledgeable about the regions wines and local wineries. It was a full day without being overwhelming. The tour of the countryside was wonderful , the wine tastings memorable and lunch at the chosen winery delightfully elegant. It could not have been a better day.

We had a great time in our day in Medoc! Our guide, Clement, was super knowledgeable about the area, and took us to some great chateaus that were smaller with really intimate experiences. I would definitely recommend the private tour because you get to see smaller chateaus as well as spend time with some winemakers, which is really unique!

We had a great day with Clement. He was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable! He picked us up from our ship stop in LeVerdon and we visited 3 Chateaus, each one was wonderful. Also had lunch at a local cafe. Then he dropped us at our ship in Bordeaux. Would highly recommend Clement and Bordeaux Wine Trails.

We loved our private tour of the Médoc region with Marie. The van was so clean, and Marie was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a beautiful lunch and got to see three very different chateaus during our tour. My only comment is that I do wish we could have had a bit of a quicker lunch to enjoy more of the tastings (it did feel like we could’ve been given a little bit more of a pour in the afternoon versus before lunch). However, overall I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning about this highly renowned region of Bordeaux wine country.

Private tour for two - we had an excellent time. Yan, our guide, had real local knowledge and insight in to the world of Medoc winemaking and the history of the area. Everyone we met was kind and inviting and we learned so much more than expected. Highly recommend this as an outing for a couple or small group, it bested our expectations in every way.

Our experience was great, and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The chateaus we busted were beautiful and the wine was even better! Will definitely use this company again.
