Available on the 1st & 2nd of October only! This once-in-a-lifetime wine tour during peak harvesting season takes you on a journey from grape, to cellar, to chateau and beyond!

No other tour in Bordeaux is quite like this, as it has never been done before. The Harvest Tour 2020 gives you an exclusive and interactive experience, from left bank to right bank, with a selection of premium wineries and up to 20 different wines to try!

Join the winemakers during harvest before you wine and dine with them, getting an intimate and exclusive taste of everything that Bordeaux has to offer. Discover the heritage of French winemaking from the Médoc, to Pessac-Leognan and Saint-Emilion regions on the holiest of wine tour trails brought to you by BWT.

We are happy to adapt to any dietary requirements you may have. Please let us know at least a week prior to your tour. The picnic is mostly composed of local cheeses, cured meats, and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Explore Chateau Gruaud Larose, a second growth winery in the Saint-Julien appellation, then enjoy a tasting of four different grape varieties! Get hands on experience in the first steps of the wine making process, then share a table lunch with the vineyard harvesting team in traditional Médoc style, all in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.


Next stop is at the prestigious Chateau Pichon Baron in Pauillac for a visit of the estate followed by a tasting of 3 of its distinguished wines.


The first day of your tour will end with a wine & chocolate tasting in the beautiful garden of Chateau Kirwan, a Bordeaux top growth winery in Margaux!


Back to Bordeaux.



Meet your guide at our office located at 21 rue du chai des farines, 33000 Bordeaux. Coffee and croissants will be served.


Your journey will begin with an exclusive visit and tasting of the legendary Château Haut Bailly in Pessac-Leognan.


Next your guide will take you to Château Troplong-Mondot. The tour of this famous estate will be followed by an authentic French picnic-style lunch prepared by the Michelin Star chef David Charrier. and served on the highest point of Saint-Emilion overlooking the valley!


Enjoy a leisurely guided walking tour in the medieval village of Saint-Emilion amidst its ancient walls and cobbled streets, fully immersed in the history of this mysterious UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Before heading back to Bordeaux, visit one last Grand Cru Classé vineyard, Chateau Jean Faure for a tasting of one of France’s finest wines.

VISIT/TASTING 6 winery visits, tasting of up to 20 wines from the right and left bank of Bordeaux but also from Bourgogne, Côte Rôtie and Languedoc!
FOOD Traditional French lunch with the harvesting team at Château Gruaud Larose, as well as a top of the range picnic-style lunch of seasonal local produce prepared by the Michelin Star chef of Chateau Troplong Mondot.
OTHER Rate is 630 EUR per person all included: transportation, an English speaking guide, entry fees to the wineries (6 visits) and both lunch

Cancellation policies:

More than 60 days prior to the tour: Full refund
Between 60 days and 2 weeks prior to the tour: 50% cancellation fees
Less than 2 weeks prior or no-show: No refund

The minimum number of people for this tour is 4. We reserve the right to cancel this tour two weeks prior to the departure time of the tour if the minimum number of people is not met. You will receive a full refund with no additional compensation, in the case of such unforeseen events.
