Saint-Emilion

Château Troplong Mondot

Not far from the village of Saint-Emilion, is Château Troplong Mondot, located at 110 meters on the highest point of this world renowned appellation. Founded in 1700, this winery now expands up to 45 hectares, producing 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. The prestige of their Grand Cru Classé wines is matched with a welcoming atmosphere, abundant foliage, 17th century chateau and charming limestone walls. The team prides themselves on staying committed to preserving the biodiversity and free spirit that has made Troplong Mondot what it is today. We work with Château Troplong Mondot for their dedication to creating a personal and memorable experience for all their visitors. Château La Croizille

This is just one jewel in the crown of this family-owned estate’s dynasty. However, what makes Château La Croizille so exceptional, is its generational dedication to innovation and excellence. This state-of-the-art winery boasts an impressive cellar that uses both traditional and modern winemaking processes. Their infamous Grand Cru Classé blend of Merlot (up to 70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (approx. 30%) is unique as grapes are harvested separately according to their ripeness for maximum yield. Quench your thirst whilst picnicking amongst the vines, and learn why Château La Croizille has endured since the 1800s.

Château Jean-Faure

Situated on the same terroir as Château Cheval Blanc classified Premier Grand Cru Classé, Château Jean-Faure (Grand Cru classified since 2012 and 1er Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion in 1893) is an estate dating from the 16th century. It is comprised of more than 18 hectares in Saint-Emilion and has a terroir of clay and iron oxide composed of 60% Cabernet-Franc, 35% Merlot and 5% Malbec.

Since 2017, they have been certified AB (organic agriculture) which in their eyes is an “essential cog in the making of great wine”. Organic viticulture requires more care and attention, but the teams at Château Jean-Faure work with conviction and pragmatism to best respect the vines and the local fauna.

Médoc

Cos d’Estournel

Entering the Saint-Estephe appellation of the northern Médoc region, you’ll find Cos d’Estournel, a hidden jewel of exotic architecture and world class wines. This second growth estate consists of 100 hectares perfectly exposed to the elements, producing 2/3 Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as plots of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Inherited in the late 17th century by Louis Gaspard d’Estournel, a man passionate about winemaking and Indian culture, Cos d’Estournel is tantalizing both for the eyes and the palate. It is a place where French tradition blends with modern art, culture and innovation.

Château Lamothe-Bergeron

This chateau of 67 hectares is in Cussac-Fort-Medoc, between the famous Margaux and Saint-Julien designation vineyards and belong to the Haut-Medoc Protected Designation of Origin. Its wine is renowned as an historical Cru Bourgeois in Medoc since the 19^th century.

Committed to viticulture that’s more respectful of the environment, its gravel soil favors the cultivation of Merlot, the main component of its wines. The blend is in fact mainly composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot to a lesser extent with a dosage and balance that can vary.

Recently, its chateau has been completely renovated and offers a unique interactive visit experience.

Château Lascombes

The Lascombes chateau is in the notorious Margaux designation with gravel and clay-limestone soils over an area of 120 hectares. It is one of the largest areas for the 1855 classified growths. Dating from the 17^th century, it features both a style from the time of its founding and from the 19^th century, a manifestation of the generations that has followed.

Its vineyard is mainly varieties of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdots which allow this winery to produce powerful and fruity renowned wines.

In addition to enjoying wine tastings, the modernized cellars are one-of-a-kind and worthy of an up close and personal visit.

Pessac-Léognan

Château Haut-Bailly

Going as far back as the 1400s, the historical evolution of Château Haut-Bailly is impressive. Rising to fame in the 17th century, and eventually classified as a Grand Cru estate in the 1950s, Château Haut-Bailly earned its place in the international marketplace acclaiming the most sought after reds of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Ancient vines are embedded in a unique soil, made of gravel and sandstone petrified with the remains of prehistoric fossil shells. The years of producing claret have given way to Cabernet Sauvignon blends with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

NEWS! Only a lucky few get to try Château Haut-Bailly’s rare rosé, a pale pink wine of limited vintages.

Château Carbonnieux

Château Carbonnieux was one of the first vineyards to produce wine in the south of Bordeaux. The prestige of its heritage is thanks to the benedictine monks who cultivated the vines from as early as the 13th century! Known more for their white wines but also renowned for their reds, Château Carbonnieux has been a prominent part of history, with connection to the Sultan of Constantinople, Thomas Jefferson and the French Revolution.

It has changed hands over the years, been restored and expanded. It is this gracious travel across time, as well as a rich terroir of ancient sediment upon 92 hectares of vines yielding white and red wines varieties including Sauvignon (65%), Semillon (35%), Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (7%) and Petit Verdot (3%).

NEWS! The benedictine monks exported their wine to America. Thomas Jefferson visited Château Carbonnieux in 1797 during an official tour in France.
