Bordeaux – Paris in 2 hours!
Great news! Thanks to the high speed train due to start operations July 2nd from Paris, our beautiful city Bordeaux will soon only be a 2 hour train ride away from the nation’s capital.
For our friends in the UK, hop onto the Eurostar in London. And with only one quick changeover, you’ll be enjoying summer in Bordeaux!
For the rest of you coming from all around the world and landing in Paris, it will be a lot easier to reach our wonderful region without any added travel hassle.
Bordeaux has had a dramatic makeover in the past two decades. The most impressive addition being the Cité du Vin, a mega-museum opened last summer. It is dedicated to the global story of wine. Housed in an €81m glass building, the museum offers a mind-boggling array of interactive displays. Plus, it has a unique wine tastings on the top floor. So, grab a glass and admire the view on the city.

You should also take the opportunity to sunbathe at the local beaches whilst tasting oysters from the luxurious bay of Arcachon.
